Pastel Plein Air Workshop in Littleton Colorado

Wouldn't you enjoy coming to the Denver, Colorado area to take a workshop where you get to paint the beautiful scenery .... and also visit Terry Ludwig's wonderful pastel workshop where he and staff make these awesome sticks of pastel? You need to look at his web site: www.terryludwig.com. They are my favorite pastels to work with from start to finish!

So .... I will be teaching a plein air (outdoors) workshop the weekend of June  10, 11, & 12 (Fri., Sat. & Sun.) for Terry Ludwig Studio. His workshop is in Littleton, Colorado and will be the meeting place before we head out to the beautiful landscape in surrounding Denver and Littleton.

Two great reasons to take this workshop: Painting plein air in Colorado -- a beautiful area of our Country .... and a perfect opportunity to see Terry Ludwig pastels and to purchase what you want! The cost of this workshop is only $300 for the three days. The workshop will be on location (plein air) and/or his classroom studio weather permitting.

This workshop will be the weekend after the close of the IAPS (International Association of Pastel Societies) convention in Albuquerque NM. So, if you are attending the convention, plan a side trip on the way home to take a workshop with me in Colorado! We will paint on location in the beautiful area surrounding Denver / Littleton, Colorado. My teaching has much to do with developing the ability to really see color relationships, aerial perspective, edges and drawing skills. Be sure to read the article about my painting in the February 2011 edition of the Pastel Journal for more insight on my painting philosophy.

Put this on your calendar -- registration is happening now. Please contact me to ask questions!!!!!
