Mentoring - On-Line / E-mail / Phone
Pastel 16"x12" SOLD
Plan #1: In-depth critique ... two to three paintings and discussion by e-mail or phone about those paintings and the critique comments made by me. A fee of $50 will be charged for each request of this type.
Plan #2: Time frame based mentoring ...If you are interested in an on-going type of mentoring, such as a specific time frame, we can structure something based on a monthly fee. Example: Month Fee $150 - broken into four weeks .. one or two paintings for critique and e-mail discussion about it weekly, not to exceed two teacher to student responses to questions.... Or, one phone call with one e-mail. To clarify, this mentoring structure would be a weekly critique and discussion for four continuous weeks.
Potential students should contact me with a request and short explanation first! All payments will be made through Paypal. Once payment has been received, I will e-mail you with a few questions and instructions to submit your images.

|Melbourne / Indialantic, Florida Workshop - Held Annually|
2015 - Feb. 25 - March 1
And you can choose your own days, take one, two, three, four or all five!
I have done this workshop for 11 years, this would be #12. There are many returning students each year, and several new ones each year! The intention for this workshop is to have each student plan the days they can come -- just one day, or all five. You can paint in the studio or plein air on the grounds of my host for the workshop. This location is beautiful and is along the intercoastal waterway. I will discuss creating studies, working from photographs as if you were outdoors, doing thumbnails and notans .... among all the other theories you may need to create your own personal vision.... instead of thinking of creating a "painting." This thought process most times takes the pressure off trying too hard! Try it, you'll like it and it might just give you a boost to try more! And, I do not teach you to paint like me ... we find your vision!
